Packaging Design
Many of the packaging design projects I have worked on have been a part of a larger branding projects which included the logo design, support print materials and displays. I LOVE packaging design — it is so satisfying to see a product being sold at my local store!
I enjoy making special laser cut boxes for my laser cut candle lanterns — ready for gift giving!!
I had been working with Groveland Confections for a year when the owner asked me to design some chocolate bar labels — YES!!! A new logo and look was created and then applied to all of her packaging labels.
"A Flavor of the Forest" brand for Veronica and Dave, naturalists who own Fisher Cat Creek Forest Retreat. The products are all natural —most of the ingredients harvested from their land.
I was originally asked to update Cheryl's nut butter labels. In the process of doing that, I ended up designing a new logo specifically for her Nut Butter brand. I kept the basic structure and colors from the original labels, but made the product name larger and clearer to read. She has 30+ kinds of nut butters, so being able to differentiate between the labels was important.
The Golden Acres logo and initial packaging design labels were started by another designer. I was called to expand the branding for this raw dog food company. I helped with the bag labels and created all of the support print materials including a truck wrap (see vehicle wraps).
