Album and DVD Covers
In college, we started a record label called Horse Latitudes Records. Over the years, I have continued to work with other labels and bands designing album and DVD covers. I'm so glad that vinyl has made a comeback — 12" covers are glorious!
"Dickey Betts & Friends Live at the Coffee Pot 1983" Anniken created the distinctive Southern Rock style logo for the DVD and CD cover released by MVDvisual November 2016.
A very talented graphic designer, Mike Suade designed the Meat Raffle Road road sign logo and the album’s title typography. Marie Johnson took the photos of band members Rick and Bryan. I had fun transforming the stark, Minnesota landscape photos by superimposing a turn of the century ranch photo from the Southwest and adding ghostly crows flying through the front and back covers. This is the second album for the band Meat Raffle Road (Eaten by Crows was the first). The Meat Raffle Road font on the cover is called “Bleeding Cowboy” which gave us a good laugh.
